Our artisans have crafted a solid wood line that is sustainably sourced, painstakingly finished and beautifully weathered to achieve the true grit of reclaimed wood in an easy to install shiplap profile.
We start with sustainably forested Adirondack Eastern White Pine from a family sawmill. This wood is painstakingly dried in slow kilns, going beyond industry standards to create the most stable planks for interior use. These are then milled to shiplap with traditional 19th century circular sawmarks. Better than simple planks, shiplap can be installed tight for crisp lines or spaced for country style without unsightly gaps.
Finally, we distress and season the finished planks to give them the appearance of beautifully weathered, reclaimed barn wood that you can feel great about using in your home.
